Minneapolis Streets.

Since the George Floyd incident, I have been moved to photograph the streets. It started by photographing the burned buildings and the people around them. Then I moved into photographing protests. Last year I photographed the homeless in several Minneapolis encampments and on the streets. I told their compelling stories and it generated donations. This year I will photograph more stories on the street including Asian hate, police brutality, and street violence.

Thousands turn out for a pro Palestine protest in Loring Park to protest the war on Gaza. During a die-in protesters were lying in the blocked off streets. A man exited this white vehicle with a knife in hand. He was sprayed with mace and drove off through the crowd. Very lucky no one was hurt. I met Rajion @richpocketz_raymond during the George Floyd and other protests when he was in the armed security group New Black Panther Nation. Years later I see his post about how crushed he is. His 1 year old daughter Reina died unexpectedly in her sleep. Rajion and Jah Nae and their two kids are devastated. Their 2 year old asks where her sister is and talks to her when she is alone.
